Future Projects of the Authority

The Public Authority for Applied Education and Training seeks to develop and raise the efficiency of its training and professional outputs to qualify them to work in various sectors of the labor market and contribute effectively to the development of the national economy and modify the demographic structure in the country by providing training programs and curricula that keep pace with global development and the requirements of the globalization era, which will raise the level of skills and knowledge necessary for the outputs to take their appropriate place in the labor market.
The Authority also seeks to achieve its mission for which it was established, which is to provide a national technical workforce that meets the requirements of social and economic development in terms of quantity and quality, through its admission policy, which contributes to achieving the past, as it follows a flexible and balanced admission policy in terms of quantity and quality, and allows the possibility of accepting all applicants from Kuwaiti youth to join various tracks of applied education and training by activating various educational and training policies adopted by the Authority according to the general circumstances and its societal role.
Taking into account the achievement of the general directions of the development plan and the objectives of the government's work program and taking into account the absorption capacity as much as possible in distributing those accepted to colleges and institutes and taking into account the general indicators of the needs of the labor market and the variables it carries that control the needs of the labor market for graduates of applied colleges and training institutes.
In order for the Authority to achieve these needs, it was necessary to provide the appropriate spatial capacity and high technology that keeps pace with the developments of the modern era. Therefore, the Authority presented through its construction projects the largest educational edifice in the country, which is the Health Technology Complex in Shuwaikh with an area of ​​700,000 meters, which includes a number of colleges and institutes that were built according to the latest scientific and technical specifications. There will also be another complex that includes the College of Basic Education and the College of Business Studies under the name of the Educational Complex. Its location will be in Al-Ardiya with an area of ​​950,000 meters with a capacity of about 23,000 male and female students distributed among the two colleges. New buildings will also be established for the Authority according to the latest specifications in the locations that will be allocated to it in Jahra, Ahmadi, Khairan and Subiya, and there will be branches of colleges and institutes.
